These stocks that were hammered after the U.S. Commerce Dept. banned sales of telecom equipment to Chinese telecom concern ZTE should be watched closely here as potential Ugly Duckling plays. Names in the space would include ACIA, IPHI, LITE, IIVI, OCLR, FNSR, FN, NPTN, MTSI, ACIA, IPHI, LITE, IIVI, OCLR, FNSR, FN, NPTN, MTSI, AAOI. and AAOI. Checkout some of the patterns on these since there are some like ACIA that posted pocket pivots over the past few days like ACIA and IIVI, for examples, and others that are in position for possible U&Rs, like LITE, for examples. I am trading any of these names as I believe there will be a ZTE "solution" agreed upon and this will send these stocks higher. When that occurs, however, is a bit tricky, since this obviously affects the timing of your entry on the long side of any of these.
