After market screening caught two potential stocks we like.
MIPS makes processors for home entertainment, multimedia, telecom, and networking such as set-top boxes/video games/televisions/cable modem/mobile phones/digital cameras/networking equipment.
It has had a huge run and today got support at its 50dma, culminating in a pocket pivot. Composite rating is 98 and earnings acceleration is strong. Fund sponsorship, an important variable, has been steadily climbing over the last several quarters.
VMW had a second pocket pivot today, with a prior pocket pivot on which we reported on December 1. This could be a good pyramid point depending on your investment style and initial position size.
While the model is on a sell, keep in mind that the model is designed for investment in ETFs. We let the stocks tell us what to do in terms of buying and selling, and these two names are showing contructive pocket pivots.
