Major averages rose Friday on higher volume, with the S&P 500 and NASDAQ Composite closing at new highs. While the uptrend appears intact, keeping stops tight and selling into strength continues to work, and while institutions don't seem eager to sell, neither do they seem all that eager to buy, which accounts for the weak rallies. Nevertheless, a number of leading names appear to be shaping up as we detailed to members the buy points that presented themselves last week.
