FAQs Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why did you not include TYH in your recently suggested ETFs since you use it as a 3-times proxy for the NASDAQ Composite? Also, why not use TQQQ instead which is perhaps an even closer proxy to the NASDAQ Composite as it is 3-times the NASDAQ-100?
A: TYH is just an example of how one of many different 3-times ETFs can be used to profit. TYH was already trading when we started tracking it in 2009, as opposed to many other 3-times ETFs which were not trading then such as TQQQ which started trading in February of 2010. At the time we started tracking TYH, we also liked how it serves as a decent proxy for the NASDAQ Composite.
In terms of the current signal, the ETFs we listed are the ones we believe will outperform in the current environment. TYH will of course correlate fairly well so could also be bought but may slightly underperform the 3-times ETFs we listed on a risk/reward basis thus was not included in the list.
