What do you mean by fail-safe?
Fail-safe means the model goes to neutral in the event the signal is false. In the case of a sell signal, it normally does this when the NASDAQ Composite moves above the high of the standby-sell day. This standby sell day usually occurs shortly before the actual day of the sell signal.
