Market Lab Report
I did not sell my ETFs when the Market Direction Model switched signals.
A CASH/NEUTRAL signal means one could either sell their positions outright, or scale out as lower prices are hit (or higher prices in the case of a short position). The returns shown on the results page are on the basis of exiting the respective ETF at the time the change in signal occurred.
If one is still in their position in a market that will gap down at the open, one could hold onto it but scale out should their ETF hit lower prices. How one scales out is up to them.
