GBTC/ETHE profit taking strategy?
Q: With the recent run-ups with BTC, I was wondering if there was some sort of profit-taking strategy that you utilize? In addition, will you be sending out an email of when you plan on closing your position in BTC?
A: When my metrics see a major sell signal, I will let members know. Such a major sell signal has come only once every couple of years. For example, the last major sell signal came in Jan-2018. Since bitcoin bull markets have tended to run for more than a year since 2015, some may wish to take profits sooner or DCA (dollar cost avg) into their position while taking profits on the way up. This comes down to an investor's personal risk tolerance which is unique to each investor.
